Find VAAC in Roseville and Detroit from August 21 through August 28 at an expungement clinic, back-to-school giveaway, Voting Rights Community Art Project pop-up, statewide Black leadership mixer, and community resource event. VAAC will be providing voter and civic education, answering questions, and offering voter registration support throughout the week.

Bureau of Elections Finds ACVM Petition Short of Required Signatures; Final Review Set for August 24

Michigan Bureau of Elections staff determined that the Americans for Citizen Voting-Michigan petition fell short of the valid-signature threshold required to qualify for the November ballot. The recommendation is not final: Michigan’s bipartisan Board of State Canvassers will review the petition and make its determination on August 24.
