Join us August 21 in Ypsilanti for a powerful day of connection, care, and community
Every voice matters — but without proper identification, too many people are shut out of the democratic process. On Thursday, August 21, the Ypsilanti District Library – Michigan Avenue will host Pull Up & Plug In, a free event ensuring every resident can get the tools they need to participate fully in civic life.
Location: 229 W. Michigan Ave, Ypsilanti, MI 48197
Date & Time: Thursday, August 21 | 12 PM – 3 PM

Join Us for:
- Free lunch from 1:30–2:30 PM, provided by Fed Up Ministries
- Free State ID services through the MDOS Mobile Unit (cost covered for those who qualify)
- Voter education and registration
- Community resources & support services
- Clothing giveaway and free toiletries
This is about more than paperwork — it’s about breaking down barriers that keep people, including formerly incarcerated individuals, from reclaiming their rights and building power in their communities.
