Participants can learn about voter registration and voting options, ask election questions, and connect with resources from the Michigan Department of State. Free food will be provided.

About the Shop Talks Series
Shop Talks brings nonpartisan voter education and community conversations into barbershops, beauty salons, local businesses, and neighborhood hubs across Michigan. These are places where people already gather, exchange information, and talk about what is happening in their communities.
The series also creates space to discuss the Michigan Voting Rights Act, public investment in civic education and community-led voter engagement, recognition of barbershops and salons as nonpartisan voter-engagement partners, and opportunities for civic engagement to count toward continuing education for barbers and cosmetologists.
