Due to rain in the forecast, along with the current water conditions on the lot where the event was scheduled to take place, we have made the decision to postpone our Caravan of Love, scheduled for Friday, September 18, 2026.
The safety and overall experience of our residents, vendors, resource partners, volunteers, and staff remain our priority, and the current conditions would not allow us to host the event as planned.
Please note that the event is being postponed and not canceled. At this time, FORCE DETROIT does not have a contingency or rescheduled date confirmed. Once a new date has been identified, they will notify all vendors, resource partners, staff, and participating parties with updated information and logistics. They apologize for the inconvenience!

The Caravan of Love is making its next stop! Be sure to join us on Friday, September 18th from 2-5pm at New Plainview Block Club, 9099 Plainview, Detroit as FORCE Detroit continues their journey throughout District 7, creating opportunities for residents to connect directly with local resources designed to support individuals and families!
Pull up, get connected and discover what resources are available right in your neighborhood!
They’ll have services focused on mental health, violence prevention, workforce development and training, youth programming, housing resources and more!
VAAC will be on site doing voter and civic engagement education and voter registration support!
