Voting is a constitutional right. Men and women resting in a jail in Michigan, who have not been sentenced, can access the electoral process via an absentee ballot system. To ensure the eligible voters detained at the Genesee County Jail have the necessary tools to engage effectively; Percy Glover of Fair Voting Alliance has organized a “Voter Mechanics Forum” to provide a higher level of education for the participants who are confined for the upcoming 2024 elections.
