Special Virtual Documentary Night: The Battle for Ranked Choice Voting

Community Documentary Night will host a special virtual discussion of The Battle for Ranked Choice Voting on Sunday, October 4, in recognition of National Voter Education Week.

The documentary examines the history of ranked choice voting in the United States and abroad, including efforts to adopt the voting method and the opposition those efforts have faced.

Please note: The film will not be shown during the October 4 event. Participants should watch the documentary beforehand.

VAAC will host an optional online screening on Saturday, October 3 for people who would like to watch the film together. The screening time and registration link will be announced soon. Registration with VAAC will be required to receive the screening link.

On October 4, participants will meet on Zoom for randomized small-group discussions followed by a guest Q&A with Julie Mallozzi, Scotty Vercoe, Nika Elugardo, and Kyle Bailey.
