Indivisible Fighting 9 is hosting Good Trouble Lives On, a community event honoring the legacy of Congressman John Lewis and his work to protect voting rights.

Community members are invited to hear from voting rights advocates, create community art, learn about ways to get involved, and support local organizations through the event’s “Fill the Truck” donation drive.

VAAC will speak at the event and provide nonpartisan voter education. Our team will also be available to help eligible Michigan residents register to vote, check their voter registration status, and get answers to questions about voting in Michigan. The Detroit Association of Black Organizations will also speak.

Attendees are encouraged to donate:

• Menstrual products
• Adult diapers
• Full-size or personal-size hygiene products
