LANSING EXPUNGEMENT FAIR

Please note that individuals with more than 3 felony offenses will not be eligible for expungement through the petition process, unless they fall within the “One Bad Night” exception under the law. Additionally, the following offenses CANNOT be expunged:

• DUI–2nd or Felony DUI–3rd

• Any offense punishable by life

• Any traffic offenses committed by a person with a CDL license while operating a commercial vehicle

• Any traffic offenses causing injury or death

• Felony domestic violence if the individual has a prior misdemeanor domestic violence conviction

• Criminal Sexual Conduct (CSC) 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degree

• CSC 4th Degree if committed on or after January 12, 2015

• Out-of-State Convictions

• Federal Convictions

Individuals with pending criminal cases will also not be eligible for expungement of any of their convictions.
