Communities across Michigan continue to raise their voices for justice, accountability, and real change. On November 29, organizers and community leaders will gather for Michigan’s Turning Point: A Call to Action Demanding Justice, a space for people to come together, share experiences, and collectively envision a more just future. This event will highlight stories, concerns, and community-grounded solutions centered on safety, dignity, and liberation.

Hosted by Dion Riggen El and the NLA Macomb Chapter 1012, this gathering offers an opportunity to deepen understanding of the systems shaping people’s lives and to build connection with others committed to truth and transformation. VAAC supports events that uplift people’s voices and create pathways toward meaningful action.
