Two community festivals are giving away free backpacks — and your support can make all the difference

At Voting Access for All Coalition, we believe every child deserves to start the school year with the tools they need to succeed. This summer, our community partners are stepping up to support families across Michigan with free backpacks and school supplies, but they need your help.

Join us in supporting two incredible events:

• 20th Annual Ava Jo Durron Neighborhood Festival →
• Back-to-School Bash + Backpack Giveaway →

We’re asking our network to help supply:

• Backpacks (new or gently used)
• Notebooks, pencils, crayons, folders, glue sticks
• Hygiene items for kids and teens

Donations can be dropped off or coordinated directly with event organizers — every item counts.
