The National Lifers Association held a Rally in support of Second Look Legislation at the Michigan State Capital on October 14. There were 3 hours of outstanding speakers, including many speaking over the phone who are presently serving sentences inside Michigan prisons.

Legislation has not yet been introduced. The Rally was part of an effort to share stories and data about how long punishment is expensive and makes no sense when many lifers could be released more than safely back to our communities.
