📅 Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
🕛 Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
📍 Location: MRCC Union Hall, 23401 Mound Rd, Warren, MI 48091
This special event is being held during both Second Chance Month and Fair Housing Month, with a clear purpose: to uplift the voices of returning citizens and remove the barriers they face when seeking housing, employment, and civic participation.
Led in partnership with State Rep. Donavan McKinney, the City of Warren, and Macomb County, this resource fair centers justice-impacted individuals with community and support.
Expect access to:
- Housing and fair chance rental resources
- Employment and skill-building opportunities
- Reentry support services
- Voter education and civic engagement tools
At VAAC, many of us have lived the experience of incarceration. We know what it means to start over—and we know how powerful it is to be seen, supported, and heard. That’s why this event matters. We invite you to show up, connect, and celebrate what’s possible when community leads the way.
