From our friends at Michigan Liberation.

NarCanvass Initiative: Join Michigan Liberation in Connecting with Macomb County Residents!
Michigan Liberation is conducting a door-knocking campaign in Macomb County to engage with residents about their experiences with and access to mental health resources and drug user health services. We invite you to join us and help foster a community that respects and supports everyone.

Event Details
Date:Saturday, May 4th Time:12:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: Our office in Madison Heights. We’ll meet at 12:00 PM, get organized, and then head out to connect with the community.

We hope you can join us for this important initiative! Please RSVP by Tuesday, May 30th, at 5:00 PM by emailing Quintin@Miliberation.org or Ashley@Miliberation.org. They’ll provide more details about the event and answer any questions you might have.

Updates and Upcoming Meetings
On April 25th, CNC organizers met with Commissioner Wallace from the Macomb County Commission. It was a productive discussion about the county’s plans for using ARPA funds and Opioid Litigation funds, as well as identifying key contacts for our Non-police Crisis Response Unit project.

We are continuing our research on the Macomb County Commissioners by scheduling meetings and attending commission sessions.

If you’re interested in joining us, here are the upcoming meetings:
May 8th, 3:00-4:00 PM: Government Oversight Committee
May 8th, 6:00-7:00 PM: Community Mental Health Finance and Budget Meetings

Your participation in these meetings is welcome, and we would love to see you there. If you have any questions or want more information, feel free to contact us via the email addresses mentioned above.
We hope to see you on May 4th!
