Panel Discussion: Unlocking the Ballot. Ensuring Voting Rights For Incarcerated Citizens

Whether a person has a felony record, are on probation, parole, tether, or awaiting arraignment or trial—even while in jail— they have a constitutional right to vote in Michigan.

Join members of Voting Access for All and a panel of experts for a community conversation about the process and policies currently in place, and those being debated currently, to allow voting by jailed citizens, as well as the formerly incarcerated.
League of Women Voters Detroit and the Detroit Public Library are partnering in talks promoting voter education and tools for action.
A Zoom link will be sent to registrants before the program.

Join us this Tuesday, May 14th at 6 PM for an informative and necessary discussion.
