Road to Restoration is a free clinic to assist Michigan residents in understanding how to get their driving privileges restored. Residents who attend will meet one-on-one with Michigan Department of State staff and talk with volunteer attorneys to determine the steps necessary to reinstate their driver’s license.
Services available: Review driving record, pay fines/fees to court, obtain administrative hearing application, take written driving test (if eligible)
Location: SVRC Marketplace, 203 S. Washington Ave., Saginaw, Michigan, 48607
Clinic hours: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Walk-ins: Accepted from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. ONLY and subject to capacity limits
Partnering organizations: United Way of Saginaw County, Detroit Justice Center, Michigan Attorney General, 2-1-1 Michigan, SVRC Marketplace
Fixed Route: Residents can ride in on any route and take Route 7 to reach SVRC. The SVRC stop is within the first five minutes of the 7 route. For return, residents will need to cross Washington and catch the inbound to the main station. Residents can view all routes on the Saginaw STARS website. Rides to Wellness: RTW covers all of Saginaw County, uses smaller vehicles and offers our highest level of service. This service is $15 each way, no matter the distance within Saginaw County.
LIFT: This is a curb-to-curb service for seniors 60 or over or gold card riders (disabled, as designated by their doctor). Rides should be scheduled at least a day in advance.
