Road to Restoration is a free clinic to assist Michigan residents in understanding how to get their driving privileges restored. Residents who attend will meet one-on-one with Michigan Department of State staff and talk with volunteer attorneys to determine the steps necessary to reinstate their driver’s license.
Services available: Review driving record, pay fines/fees to court, obtain administrative hearing application, take written driving test (if eligible)
Location: Metro Detroit Youth Clubs- Royal Oak, 1545 E Lincoln Ave., Royal Oak, MI 48067
Clinic hours: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Walk-ins: Accepted from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. ONLY and subject to capacity limits
Partnering organizations: Metro Detroit Youth Clubs, DTE, Detroit Justice Center, Michigan Attorney General, and United Way
