Michigan Voting Rights Act TOWNHALL (virtual)

Monday, May 20th from 6-7pm

Federally voting rights have been gutted – and despite Michigan having passed so many great pro-voter laws in the last several years, there is still work to do to support many voters that face inequity when it comes to voting in Michigan.

Join the Michigan Department of State, All Voting is Local, and Common Cause as we discuss the Michigan Voting Rights Act, what it could mean for Michiganders, and how to take action to get this landmark legislation passed!

Passing a statewide Voting Rights Act will help to further protect all voters by providing additional tools for voters with disabilities, language barriers, and voters of color who have been the targets of discriminatory voting laws – from future discrimination and further establish Michigan as a leader in protecting democracy and voter access in the United States.

We will have opportunities for you to engage, comment, and ask questions!
