Join Voting Access For All Coalition (VAAC) and Indivisible Metro Detroit for one of the final community art pop-ups before the Voting Rights Community Art Project is displayed at ArtPrize in Grand Rapids this fall.
Community members of all ages are invited to create a small piece of art exploring voting rights, democracy, civic participation, and what voting means to them. No artistic experience is needed. All materials will be provided.
The Voting Rights Community Art Project creates space for people to reflect on the importance of voting through creative expression. Each artwork contributes to a growing community installation that highlights the many ways people experience, protect, and strengthen democracy.
Whether you paint, draw, collage, write, or simply want to participate in a welcoming community space, your contribution will become part of this collaborative exhibit.
