Community Night of Redemption: Free Community Screening

Community members are invited to attend a free screening of Community Night of Redemption, an award-winning documentary that tells a Detroit story of survival, healing, and transformation on June 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, General Motors Theatre, Detroit, Michigan.

The event is open to community members, families, youth, and formerly incarcerated individuals, with organizers emphasizing the importance of ensuring that those closest to the story are in the room.

The documentary has received recognition from multiple film festivals, including the Orlando Urban Film Festival, World Cinema Awards, Denton Black Film Festival, Detroit Black Film Festival, and others.

Admission is free, but seating is limited and registration is required.
