As families prepare for the school year, we’re coming together to make sure kids and caregivers have the tools, resources, and confidence they need to thrive. On Saturday, August 23, from 1:00–4:00 PM, stop by 12400 E. 7 Mile, Detroit, MI 48205 for a Back to School Bash filled with support and celebration.

This free community event will feature:

• School supply giveaway to help every student start strong
• Raffle and food for families
• Voter education and registration to keep our communities empowered
• Live DJ and free haircuts for a day of joy and care

It’s more than a backpack giveaway — it’s about making sure families feel supported, connected, and ready for the year ahead.
