The Rank MI Vote petition is LIVE!! This exciting new ballot proposal seeks to bring ranked choice voting to Michigan. Ranked choice voting means that every voter has a say in who wins an election, not just those who vote for major-party candidates who have major financial backing from elite interest groups. It gets rid of politics as usual, removes the concept of “spoiler candidates,” and gives every voter a voice by allowing people to rank candidates in order of their preference on their ballot. That’s right, you would get to vote for your first choice, second choice, and so on. So even if your first choice doesn’t get enough votes to win, your second choice vote is counted instead.

The best part about ranked choice voting? Only candidates with a majority of voter support can win. No more elected officials who only got 30% or 40% of the vote!
If you would like to sign the petition, find a RMV volunteer at events and locations across the state. If you would like to volunteer to help spread the word and collect signatures, join the Rank MI Vote team today.
