The Voting Access for All coalition is excited to share an important event for those passionate about criminal-legal reform. On March 29th, 2025, the Carceral State Project Symposium 2025 will take place at the Trotter Multicultural Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This day-long event will delve into the historical and contemporary challenges of harsh criminalization, surveillance, and incarceration in Michigan.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from leading advocacy organizations about their legislative and grassroots efforts to create a more just and equitable system. The symposium promises to be an enlightening space for learning, dialogue, and action.

The event will run from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM at 428 S State St, Ann Arbor, MI 48109.
