Make your voice heard early — absentee and early in-person voting options are available now in many communities.
The Voting Access for All Coalition is here to ensure every Michigander—especially those impacted by the legal system—has the tools and support to vote with confidence. You don’t have to wait until Election Day to make your voice count. For the May 6, 2025 Election, you can vote early or by mail—starting now.
Here are your key options and dates to prepare:
- Vote early in person with an absentee ballot at your local clerk’s office TODAY.
- In-person early voting may be available in some areas starting April 7—check with your clerk.
- Register online or by mail by April 21 to vote on May 6. After that, register in person with proof of residency.
- Return your absentee ballot by mail no later than April 22 to avoid postal delays.
- May 4 is the last day some communities offer in-person early voting.
- May 5 at 4 PM is the deadline to vote absentee in person at your clerk’s office.
- May 6 is Election Day—polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM local time. You can also register and vote in person at your clerk’s office until 8 PM that day.
