2024 is a BIG election year, not just because we vote for a president but because there are hundreds of other state and local offices to elect. Nonprofits have a unique opportunity to take part in impactful voter engagement and education in a (very importantly!) nonpartisan way. Remaining nonpartisan is crucial to the protection of 501c3 status and that’s why it’s imperative for nonprofits of any size working in the voter engagement space to know *exactly* what activities are permissible.
