March 2, 2024 Day of Empathy Events Announced

Join A Silent Cry Inc., in collaboration with Dream.Org, Detroit Pistons, GRIMES, Cupcake Princess, A Brighter Way, Voting Access For All (VAAC), That Girl, Survivors Speaks and Black Lives Matter Flint on March 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM ET for a transformative experience at the Michigan Day of Empathy!

Location: Pistons Performance Center — 6201 Second Ave in Detroit,

Meet Local Elected Officials: Engage in meaningful conversations with your community leaders and make your voice heard.

Explore Resource Tables: Discover valuable resources and organizations dedicated to making a positive impact in our community.

Panel Discussions: Participate in insightful discussions addressing key issues, fostering empathy, and promoting understanding.

Giveaways: Enjoy the opportunity to win exciting giveaways and support local businesses.

And the Day of Empathy doesn’t end there! Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Sneaker Ball from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. If attending the ball, please remember to register for both times.

Let’s come together for a day of empathy, connection, and positive change for individuals impacted by mass incarceration. Your presence matters, and your voice can make a difference. See you at the Michigan Day of Empathy!

The day’s scheduled will start at 10 AM to 2 PM at the Pistons practice Stadium on 2nd Ave. in downtown Detroit Michigan. Hill Harper will be the guest speaker at noon.

It will conclude with the sneaker ball from 7 PM to 11 PM at the bridge center on Grand River on the west side of Detroit. Kwame Kilpatrick will be the guest speaker at the sneaker ball.
