From our friends at MichiganVoting.org:

For the first time ever, all Michigan voters are guaranteed at least nine days of true early voting for the February 27, 2024 Presidential Primary. This means that all Michigan voters can cast a ballot in person before Election Day at an early voting site. This week’s Digital Digest is all about how to vote early.

  • Early voting will take place at early voting sites. Your early voting site will likely be different from your Election Day polling place. To find your early voting site(s), visit mi.gov/vote and click on “where do I go to early vote.”
  • Early voting sites must be open Saturday, February 17 through Sunday, February 25 for at least eight hours a day. Some communities may offer additional early voting days and hours. To find out when early voting will be offered in your community, visit mi.gov/vote and click on  “where do I go to early vote.”
  • Voting at an early voting site will feel similar to voting at your polling place on Election Day. You will check in, receive your ballot, fill it out, and place it into a tabulator.
