| Hello VAAC Community, Due to the large number of conflicts for several of our members, VAAC leadership has made the decision to cancel today’s community call. The gerrymandering workgroup has also been cancelled and will also resume next Friday. Voting Access For All Coalition is excited to celebrate Juneteenth with our community and wanted to remind everyone to view the VAAC calendar of events here. Juneteenth is the oldest nationally-celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. This weekend if you get a chance come on out and join us in recognizing Juneteenth and honoring this special day as we celebrate emancipation, Black liberation, freedom, community, and our commitment to black lives! |
