Ballot initiatives on a range of issues have begun collecting signatures to gain access to the Novemeber ballot. Interacting with these efforts can be tricky for non-profits. On March 11, 2022 from 10-11 am, an on-line training session will be held featuring Michigan attorney, Mark Brewer. He will discuss all of the legal intricacies of how c3 and c4 organizations are allowed to interact with ballot initiatives. He will be discussing fundraising, coordination with candidates and parties, communication with the initiatives, and other crucially important topics. Since there are several ballot initiatives organizations may want to support this year, this is a very important training to attend.
