Any traffic stop can pose a threat to the person being pulled over, especially for people of color. A Broken brake light is one of the most common reasons people of color get stopped and ticketed. Getting pulled over for having a brake light out can mean at minimum a burdensome fine, and at worst an encounter of police violence. 🚔An easy way to mitigate harm and prevent police interactions is by maintaining your vehicle’s lights!
