VAAC Friday Community Meetings are a weekly space for connection, updates, and shared learning.
We bring together directly impacted people, organizers, advocates, and community members across Michigan to talk about voting access, the criminal legal system, and the issues shaping our lives and communities.
Each week we focus on timely topics including policy changes, community organizing, and civic education. There is always space for questions, conversation, and strategy.
This week: How is technology shaping democracy? And who gets left out? Join Voting Access for All Coalition this Friday for a powerful conversation on how Al, algorithms, and public policy are already shaping civic life, voter access, and the justice system.
We’ll hear from Molly Kleinman and Kristin Burgard of the Science, Technology, and Public Policy (STPP) Program at the University of Michigan. If you’re working on the front lines of voter access or justice reform, this conversation will connect the dots between tech policy and your work.
