Join MI-CEMI for a special event designed to offer support and valuable resources for families of incarcerated individuals. This event provides a welcoming and supportive environment where you can connect, learn, and find the encouragement you need.

In this webinar you will learn how to:

• Find out when your representative will be available
• Meet with your elected officials to talk about criminal justice reform
• Discuss criminal justice issues at legislator coffee hours and town halls

This webinar will include skills training by the ACLU of Michigan to help you prepare for any issue you want to discuss. Additionally, there will be small group discussions with advocacy leaders covering various topics: bail reform with the ACLU, second look policies with the American Friends Service Committee, prison oversight with Citizens for Prison Reform, and fair chance housing with Nation Outside.
