Next Step: Get Election Protection Training with DDP

Complete this form to secure your spot at Detroit Disability Power’s upcoming Election Protection Training. In one hour on Zoom, our DDP team will train you to become a confident and effective Election Protector. This training is required for those seeking to volunteer through DDP’s Election Protection effort on August 6th and/or November 5th for the Primary and General Elections respectively. We recommend you attend this training even if you’re unsure about volunteering—we’re certain you’ll be inspired to commit! 

Training will cover:

• Overview of our entire Election Protection program and its goals
• Laws and legal limitations that you must follow as a volunteer
• Tips and best practices to engage voters and lift their spirits
• Clarity on how to speak with voters about DDP and where to find voting information
