Join Voting Access For All Coalition at Fountain Street Church for a special day of programming connected to the Community Voting Rights Art Installation, a collaboration between VAAC and Indivisible Metro Detroit on exhibit during Premio de Arte 2026.

The installation brings together hundreds of individual works created through community art-making pop-ups across Southeast Michigan, exploring voting rights, democracy, representation, civic participation, access, and whose voices are heard.

9:30-10:30 AM: Chapel Time / ArtPrize Artist Talk

VAAC will have a speaking slot during Chapel Time. Mary McGeehan, the art teacher who has been leading the creative production of the project, and Angela Davenport, VAAC Executive Director, are expected to speak.

12:00 PM: Friends & Family Event

Join us in the chapel at Fountain Street Church for the Friends & Family Event. VAAC will also be capturing stories as part of the day’s activities.
