The final day of In Her Honor Detroit will feature a public exhibition honoring mothers lost to maternal mortality and highlighting the continuing work for maternal health justice.

The exhibition will include portraits, personal stories, and educational elements that illuminate maternal health disparities while honoring the lives and legacies of the mothers represented throughout the exhibit.

In Her Honor Detroit is presented by Mothering Justice, The ARIAH Foundation, Omari Maynard, and community partners. The three-day experience uses art, storytelling, remembrance, and action to bring families, advocates, artists, healthcare professionals, policymakers, birth workers, and community members together around maternal health justice.
