Voting Access For All Coalition (VAAC) and Indivisible Metro Detroit are bringing the Community Voting Rights Art Installation a Premio de Arte 2026 in Grand Rapids.

Created through community art-making pop-ups across Southeast Michigan, the installation brings together hundreds of individual pieces exploring voting rights, democracy, civic participation, representation, access, and whose voices are heard.

The project will be exhibited at Iglesia de Fountain Street as part of Art at the Fountain Inspiring Social Justice throughout ArtPrize.

ArtPrize public voting begins Friday, September 18 at noon. ArtPrize voting closes Friday, October 2. The exhibition remains open through Saturday, October 3.

To cast your first ArtPrize vote, you must be physically within the ArtPrize boundaries in Grand Rapids. Once you have cast your first valid vote, you can vote from anywhere. ArtPrize allows voters to vote once per entry each day, with another vote available for the same entry after 24 hours.
