During Black Maternal Health Week, Mothering Justice, Divas in the City, Black Maternal Health Week, and the University of Michigan is creating space for Black mamas with disabilities to share their stories, experiences, and solutions for improving maternal health outcomes. This space is designed to uplift lived experiences, share knowledge, and deepen community understanding around the unique challenges and strengths of Black mothers with disabilities.
