The Michigan League for Public Policy will host a special virtual briefing on Michigan’s newly finalized 2026-2027 state budget and what it means for children and families across the state.

Following another contentious state budget cycle, MLPP’s team of analysts reviewed the final budget to identify its impact on programs and services that Michigan residents rely on.

During the briefing, MLPP’s Rachel Richards will provide analysis and information about the state budget as well as continued federal actions affecting programs serving Michigan communities.

Participants will also have an opportunity to engage with MLPP staff, ask questions, and raise issues important to their communities.
