In this training the Coalición de Justicia Educativa de Michigan will discuss:

• Who makes decisions in our schools?
• An overview of their healthy and healing schools platform
• The most pressing issues facing school districts today, including mental health, school safety, and ongoing equity challenges with school funding
• We will also hear from currently serving school board representatives.

Each day, we see another reason why it matters to have the right people in positions of leadership! School board members make big decisions around budgets, hiring, salaries, and so much more. If you might be interested in running for a seat, this training is for you 💪🏾
