Second Chance Month highlights the importance of supporting individuals returning home from incarceration and ensuring access to opportunities, including civic participation.

Fair Housing Month brings attention to the ongoing need for equitable access to housing and the policies that shape stability in our communities.

VAAC’s work across jail voting, civic engagement, and community education connects directly to these efforts. Expanding access to the ballot and strengthening civic participation are part of building systems that are more inclusive and responsive to the needs of all communities.
