This Women’s History Month, join Voting Access For All Coalition (VAAC) and the Instituto de la Sabiduría for our upcoming Reunión comunitaria del viernes focused on housing justice and tenant protections. This session will center on the theme “Women Leading the Fight for Housing Justice” and will feature a discussion on Know Your Rights: Tenant Protections and Housing Policy.

During this virtual conversation, participants will learn about the challenges surrounding housing instability, understand key tenant rights, and explore how civic engagement plays a role in protecting communities. The discussion will highlight current housing policy issues and provide practical information for individuals and families navigating housing challenges.

The meeting will feature special guest speakers:

• State Representative Kristian Grant, Michigan 82nd House District

• Cicely Allen, Co-Executive Director of Wisdom Institute

They will share insights on tenant protections, housing policy, and the role of community leadership in advocating for housing justice.
