Promote The Vote has launched HandsOffMIVote.org, a new coalition resource designed to serve as an organizing and messaging hub for election protection work across Michigan.
The website will connect people with organizations doing election protection work on the ground and provide information about current threats to voting access and election administration, including the Americans for Citizen Voting-Michigan ballot proposal.
As the site develops, it will also be a central place to find opportunities to take action, including local resolution efforts, volunteer opportunities, election protection resources, and other ways to get involved.
A resource built for a changing election environment
HandsOffMIVote.org is designed to adapt as election protection needs change.
Promote The Vote and coalition partners are continuing to develop content, tools, and resources that can help Michigan residents understand what is happening, what it could mean for voters, and how people can participate in protecting access to the ballot.
The site will also help potential volunteers connect with organizations already doing election protection work in communities across the state.
More resources and opportunities are coming
In the coming weeks, Promote The Vote and partners plan to launch a coordinated communications campaign focused on Michigan’s election protection processes, current challenges, and opportunities for people to get involved.
That effort will lead to a virtual event for current and potential volunteers to learn more about how election protection works in Michigan, the issues coalition partners are tracking, and the different ways people can participate.
Promote The Vote is also continuing to develop additional materials for coalition partners and a longer-term communications strategy for the rest of 2026 and beyond.
HandsOffMIVote.org is being developed in collaboration with coalition partners so that it can continue growing as a useful resource for organizations and community members working to protect voting access across Michigan.
