Absentee ballots are available NOW for the November 5 General Election. This means that you can go to your city or township clerk’s office, request an absentee ballot, complete it, and return it – all in one trip.
If you’d like to vote by mail, you can request your ballot:
- Online: Ir a MI.gov/vote and click on the aplicaciones en linea.
- By mail: Print and complete esta forma and mail it to your secretario de la ciudad o municipio. (You can also call your city or township clerk and request that an application be sent to you.)
If you’ve already applied for your absentee ballot, but you haven’t received it yet, you can track your application and your ballot online at MI.gov/vote. Just click on “Your voter information” and enter the required information to see the following:
- The date your local clerk received your application.
- The date your local clerk mailed you your ballot.
- The date your completed ballot was received by your local clerk.
If there’s no date under a particular step, it means that step is not complete.
