 oting Corner was created to honor the life and legacy of Elbert Williams\,
  my great-grand uncle\, who was lynched in 1940 in Brownsville\, Tennessee
  for organizing Black voter registration through the NAACP. What we carry 
 forward is not just remembrance\, but responsibility. This work connects t
 he history of voter suppression and racial terror to the systems we are st
 ill navigating today\, and invites us into action rooted in truth\, commun
 ity\, and accountability. The People’s Toolkit is how we practice that a
 ction together. Each​ multi-generational gathering is designed to move u
 s from awareness to application. We center history\, share lived experienc
 e\, offer practical tools for everyday organizing and survival\, and leave
  with something we can carry into the week ahead. It is meant to be access
 ible\, grounded\, and deeply connected to the realities our communities ar
 e facing right now.
