DESCRIPTION:You probably already know\, but anti-voter lawmakers in Lansing
  and Washington D.C. have been introducing bills that would bring about op
 pressive voter restrictions and make it harder for everyday Michiganders t
 o exercise their right to vote.In addition to those threats\, two groups a
 re attempting to circulate petitions this year that mimic the voter suppre
 ssion tactics of SAVE Act. The so-called Committee to Protect Voters Right
 s was approved to begin gathering signatures last month\, and now\, a seco
 nd group known as Americans for Citizen Voting has introduced a similar ba
 llot initiative requiring documentary proof of citizenship to be put on th
 e November 2026 ballot. This group is already planning to gather signature
 s starting on June 1st.This is voter suppression disguised as a citizen in
 itiative and backed by self-interested politicians and national special in
 terest groups. We need to act RIGHT NOW if we want to stop Michigan citize
 ns from losing their access to the ballot.Join Voters Not Politicians for
