DESCRIPTION:\nMichigan’s Day of Empathy will reflect on eradicating pover
 ty\, transforming mental health and housing for all.\n\n\n\nThis year we w
 ill feature individuals that need clemency and pardons. We will highlight 
 legislation post\, traumatic prison disorder\, a gerrymandering bill\, hou
 sing not hurdles\, Daniel's Law\, as well as a couple of other pieces of k
 ey legislation that we are trying to pass in Michigan this legislative ses
 sion.\n\n\n\nThere will be food\, entertainment\, breakout sessions\, vide
 o presentation\, and an amazing time to meet people and community!\n\n\n\n
 Day of Empathy&nbsp\;is the nation’s largest day of action for criminal 
 justice reform\, &amp\; this wouldn’t be possible without everyone’s c
 ollective effort in fighting for what’s right. It brings together people
  from all walks of life who have been negatively impacted by America’s c
 riminal justice system – from survivors of violent crime to those who ar
 e currently incarcerated individuals to the loved ones on the outside who 
 advocate for their freedom and systemic reforms\, from children of incarce
 rated parents to people on mass supervision to all community members impac
 ted by crime\, public safety issues\, and violence.
