 ting a Meet the Candidates event for the election in every City Council di
 strict. Come listen to the candidates answer our questions\, but more impo
 rtantly\, answer the questions that are top of mind for you and your neigh
 bors ahead of the August primary!\n\nAll of the Meet the Candidate events 
 are totally FREE\, but we ask everyone to register so we can have a decent
  head count before the event.\n\nBridgeDetroit is a nonpartisan\, nonprofi
 t newsroom serving the residents of the city\, and we're trying to provide
  opportunities for the people to meet the folks who want to represent them
