 hts\n\nKick off the drive in our own backyard. We'll gather on the public 
 sidewalks around Dodge Park to help neighbors register to vote\, check the
 ir status\, and make a plan for the August 4 primary. Whether you want to 
 be trained to register voters on paper or just hand out info and talk with
  folks\, there's an easy job for you — no experience needed\, and we'll 
 get you set when you arrive. Bring water\, sunscreen\, and comfortable sho
 es. This is our Sterling Heights warm‑up before we head to downtown Utic
 a for the afternoon. Non‑partisan\; all are welcome.\n\nThe fight to pro
 tect voting rights never ends\, and right now\, we’re witnessing a Jim-C
 row-era effort from politicians and their billionaire friends to restrict 
 our freedoms\, silence our voices\, and consolidate power.\n\nBut in Ameri
 ca\, we choose our leaders. We will decide our future. The same spirit tha
 t fueled Selma\, Montgomery\, and the March on Washington lives on in our 
 unified action.\n\nSix years after the passing of Congressman Lewis\, we'r
 e organizing an event in our community to carry the torch\, continue the l
 egacy of John Lewis\, and pass it forward to future generations. Join us!\
 n\nGood Trouble Lives On is a non-partisan weekend of action. We require t
 hat participants commit to not advocate for\, endorse\, or oppose any poli
 tical candidate or ballot initiative. A core principle behind all Good Tro
 uble Lives On events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all p
 articipants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those 
 who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons 
 of any kind\, including those legally permitted\, should not be brought to
