DESCRIPTION:Join the Wayne State University community for an exciting infor
 mational event is hosted by the Government Affairs Project Group and the S
 tudent Services Project Group of the Wayne State University Student Senate
 . Attendees will learn about immigration rights\, preparedness\, and what 
 to expect during interactions with immigration enforcement. The event will
  also feature a resource fair with organizations offering information\, se
 rvices\, and support.\n\nThe keynote address will be delivered by Heaster 
 Wheeler\, WSU Graduate of African American Studies\, instructor with Detro
 it Public Schools\, former Assistant Secretary of State\, and NAACP repres
 entative. A panel discussion will feature Gabriela Santiago-Romero (Detroi
 t City Council Member)\, Rebecca Robichaud (Assistant Professor of Law\, C
 linical)\, Cherise Frost (Director of Student Disability Services)\, and L
 auren Duquette-Rury (Associate Professor\, Department of Sociology)\, mode
