kend in community. We'll gather for a Sunday service\, at 10:00 am\, refle
cting on John Lewis's legacy and the call to keep marching\, with voter re
gistration available afterward and refreshments to share beginning at 1:00

is our chance to carry that spirit forward together. Non-partisan\; all a

voices from across our region's communities. Full panelist lineup announce
d soon. Plus nonpartisan voter registration and fellowship. All are welcom

e witnessing a Jim-Crow-era effort from politicians and their billionaire
friends to restrict our freedoms\, silence our voices\, and consolidate po
wer. But in America\, we choose our leaders. We will decide our future. Th
e same spirit that fueled Selma\, Montgomery\, and the March on Washington
lives on in our unified action. Six years after the passing of Congressma
n Lewis\, we're organizing a weekend of action in Macomb County to carry t
he torch\, continue the legacy of John Lewis\, and pass it forward to futu
re generations. Join us! Good Trouble Lives On is a non-partisan weekend o
f action. We require that participants commit to not advocate for\, endors
e\, or oppose any political candidate or ballot initiative. A core princip
le behind all Good Trouble Lives On events is a commitment to nonviolent a
ction. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential con
frontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at
these events. Weapons of any kind\, including those legally permitted\, sh
ould not be brought to events.
