SUMMARY:2024 Silence the Violence March &amp\; Community Fair
DESCRIPTION:\nSilence the Violence was started 17 years ago by the Church o
 f the Messiah on Detroit's east side. The march brings the community toget
 her to commemorate the victims of gun violence\, and has now grown into a 
 thousand person event. Organizations\, leaders\, politicians\, and the nei
 ghborhood all come together to march\, remember\, and stand against gun vi
 olence.\n\n\n\nChurch of the Messiah has asked EGVMI to help spread the me
 ssage and take Silence the Violence statewide.\n\n\n\nThis year\, we have 
 something to celebrate: Michigan passed four new historic gun violence law
 s in 2023! Now we need to make sure that everyone knows about them. So fa
 r\, our members have organized more than 20 events all across Michigan to
